The Cawson Street Church of Christ is pleased to provide online giving through Faithlife Giving. To contribute to the work of the church online, click on the link below and follow the directions. An active email address is required for online contributions but there is no requirement to set up an account with Faithlife Giving.  You will receive an email receipt once your contribution has been processed.  If you have questions, please call the church office for more information. 



Q: Can I Still Drop Off My Contribution At The Church Building?

A: Yes, you can still drop off your checks at the church building. The church office is now open on a regular schedule but to ensure that you can be accommodated, please call the church building at (804) 458-3563. 


Q: Can I Send My Contribution Via Mail?

A: Yes. You can mail your check to PO Box 1301 Hopewell, VA 23860.


Q: What Credit Cards Are Accepted?

A: All major credit cards are accepted with Faithlife Giving, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.


Q: How Secure is Faithlife Giving?

A: Security and privacy are important to us. Faithlife Giving utilizes a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of the giver’s personal and cardholder information.  Faithlife Giving utilizes industry-standard best practices to secure servers and networks and ensure privacy. All supplied credit card information is transmitted via Transport Layer Security(TLS) which is the most up-to-date and secure version of Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology. Card information is encrypted to ensure compliance with data protection regulations, such as Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). Q: If I make a mistake, Can the Church Issue Refunds?

A: Yes, our church Finance Team members have the ability to issue refunds on gifts once they have settled. Please allow 48–72 hours for refunded amounts to be reflected in the giver’s account. Please call the church office for more information.


Q: What Are Processing Fees?

A: A processing fee is an amount it costs to process or facilitate a gift. The majority of a processing fee is the amount charged by the credit card company that issued the card.  Each gift is subject to the processing fee schedule of your plan in effect at the time the gift is made. Faithlife Giving allows givers to pay the processing fees in addition to their gift amount ensuring your church receives the full gift amount.


Q: What is Text to Give?

AFaithlife Giving provides Text to Give at no extra cost to your Faithlife Giving plan. Simply text the word "give" with the amount (ex. GIVE 50) to (804) 204-3844. For the first time givers via text, you will be prompted to create an account with Faithlife. The stored payment information in your account will be used the next time you use Text to Give.
