With the Governor of Virginia issuing an executive order mandating a stay-at-home rule effective through June 10th we wanted to take a moment to update you on our church's response:

Brethren,
These are certainly unprecedented times. We believe that our people have responded remarkably well to the recent Covid-19 outbreak. We face the challenge of keeping our people safe while still carrying on the work God has given us. The situation has been fluid over the past two weeks. Thus far our decisions have been based on the collective wisdom of the entire leadership of our congregation and in response to request from local and state officials. There remains a great deal of uncertainty as to how long this may go on. We look forward to a time when we can come back together as a congregation. In the meantime, we would like to communicate with you regarding our weekly assemblies, office hours, and building use guidelines.

Dear Brethren,
We appreciate your patience as we have worked out contingencies in response to the recent CoronaVirus outbreak. Many of you have voiced your thoughts and concerns to us and we want you to know we have listened to each one of you. On Tuesday evening we had a combined leadership meeting to discuss how to appropriately respond to request by local and state authorities that no gatherings of 10 or more people meet at this time. Outlined below is how our congregation will adapt to these challenges over the next few weeks:
