2016 MISSION POINTS AND OTHER ASSISTANCE

ROANOKE RAPIDS, N.C.

Though small in number these brethren remain strong in the faith and committed to reaching out to their local community. It is however imperative that they continue to receive financial support in order to continue their work. We will monitor and carefully appraise this mission in 2016.

STRASBOURG, FRANCE

“The Frerot family” Daniel, Tammy and their two daughters, are doing a good work in Strasbourg. They continue to have steady growth with good visitor interest from the community.  This work is going well.

KELLER, VIRGINIA

Brother Marc Lee continues to do a good work with this small congregation on the eastern shore of Virginia. We continue to support their vision.

HALLS HARBOR ROAD CHURCH OF CHRIST, HARBINGER, N.C.

(formerly the Seaside / Nags Head Church of Christ)

They have purchased, modified and currently occupy a modular building on their lot. There are long-range plans to construct a permanent meeting facility. Donnie and Tamara McGhee moved away in mid-October. Colonel and Kellie Pratt are now laboring here. They recently served several years as Missionaries in China. We are carefully monitoring this work.

MARSH HARBOR, BAHAMAS

We will continue helping support the missionary family in Marsh Harbor in cooperation with the West Broward congregation in Plantation, Florida.

COMMONWEALTH CHURCH OF CHRIST—MANILA, PHILIPINES

Jann Diamante, Frank & Nila Ingles’ son-in-law, is the preacher for this congregation and is doing a good work. After losing some monthly support they must have help for the meeting house monthly rent and other expenses.

HISPANIC MISSIONS

In cooperation with the Three Chopt congregation and the Cameron Avenue congregation, we help sponsor the Hispanic outreach in Harrisonburg, VA; Henrico, VA (Three Chopt) and Chesterfield, VA (Southwest). Brother Lucas Vasconcellos and family have relocated to Florida. Interim ministers are in place. New ministers will assume this work before Spring – 2016.

GALION, OHIO

We began helping this mission work in 2008 when brother Oscar McCoy moved to that area. Brother McCoy, a longtime Gospel preacher, retired in mid-2015. We’ve completed our support of this work.
